Tungsten is a Web browser with a simple design that makes it easy to access all important features. The Start menu and Quick Start button are on the upper left corner for easy access.
The tabbed browsing feature allows you to open several pages on the same window, which you display by clicking on their respective tabs. You may even perform multi-level tab grouping by dragging tabs and dropping them at the center of another tab. This simple process enables you to create a group.
In addition, you may split tabs either horizontally or vertically depending on your preferences. This may come in handy in some situations, such as when you are dealing with a website with a video you want to watch. You may browse the site on one section as you watch the video on another.
Tungsten uses both Trident and Blink rendering engines, which you can change by making a single mouse click. This feature lets you take advantage of both Chromium and Internet Explorer based strengths depending on the site you are browsing.
When you select the Blink engine, you may use some Chromium apps and extensions. Changing skins allows you to change the browsers appearance in many ways, including the width of tabs and buttons.
The browser integrates the address bar and search box, which means it will consider things you type that are not URLs as keywords and search for them online. It may also offer suggestions as you type.
Speaking of making searches, you may also use Tungsten as you would your Windows Explorer and search for items saved on your local drive, including local and downloaded files, the control panel and desktop. You dont have to switch applications when you want to open files you download.
Do not worry about searching for and saving your bookmarks afresh, as Tungsten can easily read the bookmarks you save on other popular Web browsers.
